Titahi Bay
Providing there's no rain and only a small amount of wind, Titahi Bay is a good place to spend the day climbing.
You can also dive from the shore here - near the boat sheds.
The beach is safe and popular with surfers. There is a Surf Life Saving Club.Titahi Bay is a beach break that can be surfed on all tides. An on-shore wind provides the best conditions.
For many people Titahi Bay is characterised by its boatsheds - mostly built in the 1950s they give the bay its own special character.
